Open call to ALL amateur MMA fighters. Whether you have 6 fights already or you just walked into a gym last week, Respect Is Earned MMA wants ALL amateur MMA fighters to join us for this exciting, one of a kind event for amateurs.

Amateurs will be fighting for:
Exclusive, 3 PRO Fight Contract with Respect Is Earned MMA
On the day of tryouts, the doors will open for ALL amateurs to join us for an interview, then "evaluation" period with MMA experts offering advice, tips and their expertise as they judge amateur fighters for American Cage Warriors.
Each fighter will go through 3 stations.
- Station 1: An on camera interview and brief Q&A with RIE reps
- Station 2: A minute and a half of standup work with a sparing partner provided by RIE.
- Station 3: Two minutes of ground work with a grappling partner provided by RIE. (One minute starting on top, and one minute on bottom, starting in guard position for both)
RIE will have judges evaluate each amateur and rank those fighters based on each of their performances. These evaluations will be used to decide on who qualifies for the show, and to better match fighters against each other for the event's fight card.
Fighters will be properly matched based on experience and styles, against other amateur fighters. Then the fun begins........
On fight night, RIE will be hosting an ALL amateur event featuring SEVERAL bouts consisting of amateurs who were evaluated previously at the "tryouts". With at least 12 bouts on the card, RIE will be looking to have 7 or more bouts coming from the "tryouts".
Those fighters who are on the card from the "tryouts" will be competing for the NON-EXCLUSIVE, 3 PRO FIGHT CONTRACT with RIE plus a cash signing bonus. Each amateur fighter who wins their respective division, will be given the non-exclusive contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young fighters of any experience level (as long as they are amateurs) to come out and see the level of competition they'll be facing. With some VERY good exposure as well, with RIE's marketing efforts and local press (also a big network interested in airing the event and tryouts)......
Not to mention, ALL fighters who go through the "tryout" process, will not only be in RIE's fighter database, but will be contacted for future events for RIE and American Cage Warriors events. This is an opportunity for RIE to see all fighters and see what they can do, so that RIE can contact these fighters for future events and potentially help those fighters get the experience they need to further their careers.
ALL fighters will be required to show proof of negative HIV before entering the evaluation period. RIE takes protecting it's fighters and spectators seriously, so please make sure you bring the proper paperwork with you.
